The transition from stage 2 to stage 3 only takes place once the subgoals have been achieved, i.e. for each subgoal in the evaluation, the manager has achieved sufficient behavioural change and the new behaviour now feels natural.
8.1.3 Phase 3: Sustain
In this stage, you will determine whether the goals set in stage 1 have been truly achieved and identify what the manager may still need in order to maintain the newly learned behaviour. If internalization has truly taken place and the new behaviour is firmly embedded in the manager’s cognitive processes, then stage 3 will take very little time.
